Introduction of our new accountmanager: Rogier Haasbroek
Sustainability“What I like about this market? We’re always moving. There’s always some new development just around the corner and that makes my work fantastic. Currently recycling and closed loop processes are a hot topic, this means products and raw materials will infinitly circulate in the production loop, an important subject! Sustainability is something EuroMouldings will be improving upon in the coming years. This doesn’t just include re-using materials, but also how we can create lighter products by using different materials.”Rogier starts his work at EuroMouldings with a lot of enthousiasm. “It’s a beautiful company. What I like about EuroMouldings is that we’re fast and flexible offering a wide range of products used for a large amount of appliances. We can use our custom products to cater to the wishes of our customers”
Reliable and involvedRogier has a lot of direct contact with customers as an accountmanager for the AST Group, of which EuroMouldings is a part. “Reliability and long lasting relationships with our customers is very important to me. I look forward to using my knowledge and experience to the questions and challenges of our customers!”

Further sustainability through closed loop productionprocess
Internal closed loopFirstly we make more use of recycled raw materials, that have been processed into workable HDPE granulate (PCR-material). We’re already selling products that have been made out of 100% recycled material and we’re aiming to have a yearly increase of the total share of PCR-products. We purchase some of this material externaly (method 1), but we’re also re-using a lot of our waste materials (method 2) to great effect. With this internal closed loop we’ve deacreased our wasteflow to, as near as can be, zero.
Collection of bottles and jerrycansThe third method: We collect used bottles and jerrycans from our customers so that we can recycle these to become PCR-material for new products. By collecting our own products we can secure the quality of our PCR-material. These products have left our factory and thus we can be sure that they won’t be mixed with other raw materials.By doing this we don’t just improve the sustainability of our own organisation, but also the sustainability of our customers. By assisting them with the collection of used bottles and jerrycans we work together in realising the sustainability goals for our company and that of our customers. A win-win situation!

EM part of the AST. Gruppe
Investment company Wadinko N.V. sells a majority part of EuroMouldings BV to the European market leader of plastic jerrycans for UN approved goods.
EuroMouldings BV supplies already since decades plastic bottles and jerrycans and during the last years 100% of our shares were in the hands of Wadinko NV, a Dutch investment company in the eastern part of Holland. We are very pleased to announce that 51% of the shares have been sold the AST. Gruppe, based in Erndtebrück, Germany.
In the past weeks we have made the decision to join the AST. Gruppe and, under the leadership of the Strohmann family, become one of the best producers of plastic blown packaging in Europe.
AST is market leader in the production of plastic jerrycans and barrels with UN approval and the family-owned business can look back on 40 years of experience in the field of plastic packaging. The company has its origin in Erndtebrück (D), expanded to Wrexham (UK), Hoogstraten (B) and Eppingen (D) and with this step AST expands its portfolio to bottles as well.
EuroMouldings long and extensive experience and the excellent reputation were essential to AST’s choice and it’s our common goal to advice and supply customers completely with a product portfolio of 250ml to 220 liter.
In the future the EuroMouldings brand and performance will continue to be the same; our production location will remain in Nijverdal and will be expanded over the years. You will be able to contact the usual persons at EuroMouldings for your questions and whishes. Your sales prices and sales conditions will of course also remain the same.
We would like to thank you for your confidence up to now and we look forward to improve and expand our cooperation with you.

HANS INTRODUCES HIMSELF
My name is Hans Lubbers, 53 years old and residing in Arnhem. Starting from August 1 I will take over from Martin as managing director.
Immediately after my study Mecanical Engineering in Delft I worked in technical commercial positions. SInce 1993 I held management positions at , for amongst others, Dumocom, TW Packaging and Alcan Packaging, all active in the packaging industry. After this I was active as managing director at Flexiforce, a company active in the field of overhead doorsystems.
The ambiance and the people at EuroMouldings appealed to me from the start and I am looking forward to start working with the goals set out.

MARTIN SAYS GOODBYE
In the 11,5 years that I have been working for EuroMouldings, a lot has changed. As a company we grew substantially and have developed the organisation in a good way. At the beginning 40 people were active, what are now well over 100. EuroMouldings will be entering a new phase with a new board. My successor Hans Lubbers is experienced in the field of packaging and plastics in general, so I am fully confident that together with the existing management team our policy will be continued in a good way.
The near future will be in the light of extensive investments in our premises and machinery. I myself will remain active for WIMM, an initiative of our shareholder Wadinko. WIMM focusses on entrepeneurship, leadership and talent development in our part of Holland. Finally I would like to thank everyone for the pleasant cooperation in the past years.
